Derrick Evans was born 2000 ft up in Manchester, Jamaica and in 1962, at 10 years old, moved to the UK.  Derrick was educated in the UK and after a number of years eventually found fame on British Television as Mr Motivator, promoting health and fitness as a way of Life.

Millions of viewers bought into Mr Motivator’s belief that fitness could be fun, and hundreds of thousands bought his videos, the production quality of which propelled his Bums Legs and Tums (BLT) series to the very top of the UK video charts.

Now in his fifties, there’s very much still a great demand for Mr Motivator to do personal appearances, sales conferences, and team building and motivational talks are still high on his agenda.

At his home in Jamaica is where you will find Mr Motivator’s wife Palmer, his daughter Abigail together with their many pets including dogs, rabbits donkeys and birds. Jamaica is also the location of his tourism project, H’Evans Scent, where he runs team building, staff motivation workshops and company fun days.
